Kolbe has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The policies described on this page apply to www.takestwo.com and its interface with secure.kolbe.com.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, and site functionality.
Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, pixels, tags and scripts are used by Takes Two, Kolbe and our partners (e.g. marketing collaborators and sister companies) and analytics. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.
We partner with third parties to either display advertising on our Website or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third party partners may use technologies such as cookies to gather information about your activities on this site and other sites in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by clicking here. Please note this does not opt you out of being served ads. You will continue to receive generic ads.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE:
In General. We may collect Personal Information, including Sensitive Data, and other information. "Personal Information" means individually identifiable information that would allow us to determine the actual identity of, and contact, a specific living person. Sensitive Data includes information, or content (e.g. photographs, bookmarks/favorites) that you optionally provide that may reveal your ethnic origin, nationality, religion and/or sexual orientation. By providing Sensitive Data to us, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of Sensitive Data as permitted by applicable privacy laws. We may also collect your geolocation information with your consent. We may collect this information through a website, mobile application or other online service. When you provide personal information, the information may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world.
Information you provide. We may collect and store any personal information you enter on our website or provide to us in some other manner. This includes identifying information, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, Kolbe MO and, if you transact business with us, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). You will also create a Username and Password. We may also request information about your interests and activities, your gender and age, and other demographic information.
Our site's registration form asks users to give us contact information (such as their name, address, and email address) (Note: see the Minors section regarding the collection of information from a minor). We use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about our company. We occasionally send email messages to people who opt-in to receive communications from us. These email messages provide transaction notices, updates about the company, inform people about promotions, and let them know of upcoming events; see the Communications from the Site section below. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the Communications from the Site section below (Note: see the Minors section regarding contacting minors). Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services.
Demographic and profile data is also collected on a voluntary basis at our site. Takes Two and Kolbe Corp will not distribute a user's private data or information concerning the user or the user's order to anyone outside our organization unless the user chooses to create and maintain a Searchable (Public) Profile, links to another user (See Profile Status, Linking to Others), or selects the option to share their name and email address with our Corporate Affiliates. (Note: The only exception may be if we were to be subpoenaed or ordered by a court of law to disclose such information; see the Sharing section below.) Much of this information is used for processing of a Kolbe A™ Index and becomes part of our research database. This allows us to continue doing research about conation on an anonymous basis.
INFORMATION ABOUT OTHERS
We may collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us, such as their name, address and email address. If you use our website or application to send others (friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.) a product as a gift, we may store your personal information, and the personal information of each such recipient in order to process those requests or facilitate future activities.
Although our website is a general audience site, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
Takes Two account holders (Users) choose the degree to which information in their account is Searchable and viewable by others. If the account is marked "Searchable", the user's name, Kolbe MO, email address and profile photo will be searchable and viewable to other account holders. If the account is marked "Not Searchable," none of the user’s information will be searchable and viewable by other account holders.
Once an account is created, the User may invite another User to "Link" profiles for the purpose of generating a Takes Two report. If a User desires to Link to someone who hasn't created a Takes Two account, they may invite them using their email address or via SMS using their mobile phone number. You understand and agree that you are responsible for any charges that apply to communications sent to or from your device, and because this invitation is coming directly from your personal account, Takes Two and Kolbe do not have access to or control this communication. Users may view the profile information of other Users they are linked to (including name, Kolbe MO, Username, and bookmarks/highlights in a shared Takes Two report) - Users will NOT have access to each other's email address or phone number on the site unless they are incorporated in the Username.
Our site uses an order form for customers to purchase products and services; see the SHARING section. We collect visitors' contact information (such as their address and email address) and financial information (such as their account or credit card numbers). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the Communications from the Site section below. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services.
We post client testimonials on our website which may contain personally identifiable information such as a client's name. We do obtain the client's consent to post their name along with their quote prior to posting the testimonial. If at any time the client changes their mind and would like the testimonial removed, an email can be sent to Takes Two at firstname.lastname@example.org with "Remove My Testimonial" in the subject line. Please include the quote, the page it was on, and the full name in which the testimonial was sited. After the information has been verified as a valid request, the information will be removed.
Our site may also conduct surveys or run contests during which similar information will be collected and used for the same purposes listed above.
Our website includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of Takes Two and Kolbe. If you submit personal information to any of those websites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Takes Two's platform, this information may be collected and used by others. We encourage you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from Takes Two so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. Takes Two is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Takes Two website.
Any information or content that you voluntarily share with a Linked User, such as Highlights/Favorites or Kolbe MO, becomes available for them to share publically.

AGGREGATE INFORMATION (NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFYING)
We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and Corporate Affiliates. This data contains generic demographic information regarding the statistical analysis of visitors/users of the site. This information may be shared with investors, research teams and strategic partners with the interests of the users leading the way. This information is not linked to any personal, identifiable information when presented to Corporate Affiliates.
Note: These are the instances in which we will share users' personal information:
We may share User Content and your information (including but not limited to, information from cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data, and usage data) with Corporate Affiliates. Affiliates may use this information to help provide, understand, and improve the Service (including by providing analytics) and Affiliates' own services (including by providing you with better and more relevant experiences). THIRD PARTY INTERMEDIARIES
We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personal, identifiable information for any secondary purposes. MERGER / ACQUISITION
If Takes Two and/or Kolbe are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
When a user pays for a report or places an order online, the user's personal information and credit card information are processed and encrypted by our offsite secure server, www.takestwo.com, www.kolbe.com and secure.kolbe.com, using industry-standard SSL encryption. SSL is short for Secure Sockets Layer, a protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL works by using a private key to encrypt data that is transferred over the SSL connection. Current major browsers support SSL. When you visit a page that requires an SSL connection, it starts with https: instead of http:. The benefit to housing our server offsite is to provide additional security, secure 24-hour maintenance and backup for our site. Those benefits are then passed on to you, our users. The company that houses the offsite server has limited access to personal and order information captured during the ordering process for purposes of monitoring and troubleshooting errors on the system. They do not, however, have access to secure credit card information.
We take appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. We want you to feel confident using our website to transact business. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, searches, or other communications will always remain secure.
You agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues, such as security breaches. We may post a notice on our Service if a security breach occurs. We may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided. You may have a legal right to receive this notice in writing. To receive free written notice of a security breach (or to withdraw your consent from receiving electronic notice), please notify us at email@example.com.
If you have any questions about security on our Website, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

If we have already provided your information to a third party (such as a service provider) before you have changed your preferences or updated your information, you may have to change your preferences directly with that third party.
Our applications may also deliver notifications to your phone or mobile device.
